Microsoft Access is easy to start by clicking the Start Button, Programs, and Microsoft Access. Access will then ask if you want create a new database, or open an existing one. The Access screen is actually a window containing title bar, a menu bar, toolbars that can be locked or floating, the database window and the status bar.

The database window contains different tabs for different objects including tables, queries, forms, reports, marcos, and modules.
